This site collects almost nothing about you. Here is the complete picture.

What I collect and why

The only personal information I collect through this site is what you give me when you sign up for the civic updates list: your email address, your first name if you choose to share it, and which page of the site you signed up on. That information is used to send you civic updates, roughly five emails a year. Nothing more.

If you email me directly at will@willmau.com, I keep that email the way anyone keeps email. I do not add you to the list without your asking.

Where your data lives

The civic updates list is hosted by MailerLite, an email service used by tens of thousands of senders worldwide. Your email address and name live there, not on willmau.com. You can read MailerLite’s privacy policy if you want their full picture.

What I do not do

I do not sell your information. I do not share it with anyone. I do not run ads against it. I do not trade it. The list exists so I can occasionally send you something worth knowing about Schalmont and the board, and that is the whole purpose.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses no tracking cookies. No Google Analytics, no Facebook pixel, no advertising or behavioral tracking. The only Google product connected to the site is Search Console, which reads Google’s own search data to show me what queries bring people here. It never touches your browser and never sets a cookie.

Removing your information

Every email I send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click removes you from the list. If you would like your data deleted entirely, email me at will@willmau.com and I will remove you from MailerLite and confirm.
