The Record

Proud of what we did together as a board and administration.
  • We added three full classes of Pre-K and reopened Woestina Elementary.
  • We added Residential Trade Technology at the high school. Our administration is growing the career and job fair with local employers.
  • We expanded AP and college-credit offerings so students have multiple pathways to earn credit.
  • Our 2025-26 budget passed with 75% voter approval, with every dollar going into programs.
  • We established a Capital Reserve Fund to invest in our buildings without raising taxes.
  • We held low class sizes while other districts cut services.

What’s Next

Four things I want to work on if I’m reelected.
  • Expand career experiences for our students. Residential Trade Technology proved the model. We can build stronger programs, get more students ready for what’s next, and keep more dollars at Schalmont.
  • Keep listening to our faculty, staff, and administrators. They’re the ones running our classrooms and buildings. Our job is to keep acting on what they tell us.
  • Use data to find the next improvement. Where the gaps are biggest, that’s where the next dollar goes.
  • Keep pushing what’s possible at Schalmont. More AP and college credit, more career experiences, stronger early learning, and hands-on pathways at every level.

About Will

My wife is a third grade teacher, and together we are raising two Schalmont students: a 7th-grader and a 3rd-grader. I went to the College of Saint Rose for Social Studies 7-12 and taught for three years before moving into operations and data. Today I run operations at TalentSmart, an emotional intelligence and leadership development company. Nights and weekends I chair the Scout Troop at Jefferson Elementary.
